Job Summary
Conduct ultrasound examinations and patient care documentation during overnight shifts from 10:00pm to 6:30pm. Operate diagnostic equipment with precision while assessing patient needs and communicating with providers during emergency situations. Transfer and ambulate patients, navigate crowded rooms, and manage supplies and heavy equipment. Maintain manual dexterity for complex tasks and stand in stationary positions for extended periods. Requires ARDMS registry certification and BCLS.
Required Qualifications
- Registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- Successful completion of one registry pertinent to the department beyond physics (options include OB, abdominal, neuro, breast, pediatric, and vascular)
- Health Services\BCLS - Basic life support (Certification for Healthcare Providers)
