Job Summary
Ultrasound Technologist responsibilities include performing a wide range of ultrasound imaging procedures in ER settings, including abdominal, OB, and vascular scans. The role requires ARDMS/RDMS certification (preferred in Ab or OB), at least 1 year of post-graduation ultrasound experience, a valid driver's license, BLS/CPR, and strong interpersonal skills. The position emphasizes compassionate patient interactions, independence, equipment upkeep, and collaboration with hospital staff and colleagues. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation
- Current ARDMS certification – RDMS (ideally in Ab or OB)
- Valid Driver’s License
- BLS/CPR Certification
- Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check
- Comfort level with general abdominal, general OB & general vascular scans/procedures
