Job Summary
Perform diagnostic medical sonographic exams and assist physicians as required under general supervision. Conduct OB/GYN ultrasound procedures and complete related duties assigned. Maintain National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography and hold current BLS certification. Requires two years of Ultrasound Tech experience and successful completion of an accredited training program. Works part-time day shifts on-site at Swedish Ballard Tallman Bldg in Seattle.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound training program
- Education and experience sufficient to meet eligibility requirements to take American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers (ARDMS) registry examination
- Within 1 year of hire National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 2 years Ultrasound Tech experience
