Job Summary
Perform diagnostic medical sonographic exams under general supervision, assisting physicians as required and executing related duties assigned. Maintain National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography within one year of hire and hold current BLS certification upon hire. Requires two years of Ultrasound Tech experience and successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound training program. This role supports the mission of improving health and wellbeing across the Puget Sound area within a large, not-for-profit health care system serving diverse communities.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound training program
- Education and experience sufficient to meet eligibility requirements to take American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers (ARDMS) registry examination
- Within 1 year of hire National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 2 years Ultrasound Tech experience
