Job Summary
Operate ultrasound scanning equipment to produce records of designated portions of the human anatomy for adult and geriatric patients. Maintain certification with ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI within twenty-four months of eligibility, and ensure CPR certification is current or obtained within ninety days of employment. Complete continuing education in compliance with registry requirements. Work Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM and Friday from 8 AM to 1:30 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Certified or eligible for certification by: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Sonography (ARRT) (S). OR Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- All sonographers must obtain certification within twenty-four months of eligibility or cross training.
- Certified in Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or obtain within 90 days of employment
- Sonographers must be in compliance with the ARDMS, ARRT or CCI requirements for continuing education appropriate to their practices
- Work Hours (EX:7AM-7PM): Monday - Thurs 8-5 Friday 8-1:30
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology
- Registered Cardiovascular Technologist with two (2) years cardiac related experience
- Registered Vascular Technologist with two (2) years vascular related experience
- Registered OB/GYN Technologist with at least two (2) years of OB/GYN related experience
