Job Summary
The diagnostic Sonographer produces diagnostic information using sonography equipment and related techniques, acquiring and evaluating data with professional discretion. Responsibilities include performing ultrasound examinations, ensuring accurate data for clinical interpretation, and maintaining quality imaging consistent with hospital standards. Requires approved diagnostic sonography education or equivalent experience, RDMS registration in abdomen or OB-GYN, and CPR certification. Shift is full-time night hours (10:30pm–7:00am) with occasional weekend/holiday work. Required Qualifications
- Must have attended an approved school for Diagnostic Sonography or have equivalent experience which is accepted for registration with the R.D.M.S.
- Must be registered in abdomen or OB-GYN by the R.D.M.S.
- Current CPR certification required.
