Job Summary
Perform optimal ultrasound exams and procedures for neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatric patients to facilitate physician diagnosis. Interpret preliminary findings for critical cases, recognize emergent situations, and assist customers during exams for comfort and care. Maintain accurate medical records, ensure confidentiality, and utilize hospital computer systems correctly. Clean and restock vascular testing rooms while complying with legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements. Participate in professional development, maintain skill proficiency, and assist with IAC accreditation goals and QA data collection. Schedule includes 80 hours per two-week pay period. Requires a graduate of an accredited Sonography program, RDMS certification, BLS, and 1-5 years of experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in Sonography
- Registered in Sonography within 2 years of graduation from an accredited program in Sonography
- RDMS Registered
- BLS Certification
