Job Summary
Perform ultrasound procedures at a technical level requiring independent judgment, applying non-ionizing, high frequency ultrasonic waves to patients for diagnosis. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of ultrasound principles while promoting a team concept that reflects the mission of Providence Health & Services. Utilize electronic medical databases such as Epic for patient care documentation. This full-time, day shift role is based on-site at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA. The position offers a base pay range of $41.65 - $64.66 with opportunities for shift differentials and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Coursework/Training Completion of education program that meets ARDMS prerequisite requirements for RDMS examination
- National Registered Technologist - Sonography
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in assisting with the following OB procedures: chorionic villus sampling (CVS), Percutaneous Umbilical Blood Sampling (PUBS), and amniocentesis
- Experience with electronic medical databases, like Epic
