Ultrasound Technologist

Job Summary
Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, operate ultrasound equipment, and prepare/position patients for imaging. Analyze images and communicate findings to physicians; maintain patient records with confidentiality. Must hold at least one ARDMS registry and pursue additional ARDMS registrations as required; comply with CPR, OSHA, HIPAA training and continuing education. Education: Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent; experience: 1–3 years in a clinical setting. Schedule: Temporary Part-Time (e.g., 16–24 hours per week) with potential additional hours; locations: Flint, MI and Villa Linde, Flint, MI. Responsibilities include staying current on registries (ABD, OB/GYN, Breast, Vascular) and using PACS/RIS systems in daily tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold at least one (1) registry with the ARDMS
- Must continue to maintain continuing education credits and registry requirements in compliance with the ARDMS.
- Must be willing to register in all ARDMS registries required by RMI including, ABD, OB/GYN, Breast and Vascular. A one (1) year time period is allotted to obtain any new registry.
