Ultrasound Technologist II - Weekend

Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic ultrasound exams and invasive procedures for high-acuity patients in emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings across trauma and ICU units. Provide direct patient care while ensuring optimal image quality through sound judgment and appropriate technique adjustments. Assist in educating new employees and students, support physicians with specialized procedures, and coordinate daily exam scheduling and floor calls. Document accurate patient histories, symptoms, and preliminary findings. Maintain mandatory hospital programs and ensure proper patient comfort throughout all interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Technical School Diploma of approved CAHEA School of Diagnostic Ultrasound
- 2 years Experience performing imaging examinations using established protocols
- Knowledge acquired through completion of occupationally specific education
- RDMS - Reg Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- ARDMS - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania
- Lift and carry 40-50 lbs
- Frequent to continuous standing/walking
- Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift
- Perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR
- Weekend Shift
