Job Summary
This position involves performing quality routine and specialized ultrasound procedures while recognizing patient conditions essential for successful procedures. The Ultrasound Technologist II is required to perform diagnostic exams as directed by Radiologists, recognize examination findings requiring immediate clinical response, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and explain procedures effectively to patients and families. Essential qualifications include an Associate's degree or equivalent, 2 years of direct work experience, and a relevant license or registry. The position is full-time, Monday through Thursday from 8:00pm to 6:30am.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college program or technical school or nursing diploma
- 2 years of direct work experience
- 1 of the following licenses or registries: RDMS or PS from ARDMS, to be obtained within 2 years of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Preferred experience in pediatric ultrasound
Additional Requirements
