Job Summary
Performs ultrasound procedures at the entry level with knowledge of anatomical positioning and physiology; must be able to perform high quality ultrasound examination for interpretation by a physician on children, adolescents and adults.
Required Qualifications
- Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or registry eligible required
- If not certified, must obtain certification within the first year of employment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire; maintain current BLS (AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or American Red Cross CPR/AED)
