Job Summary
Operate ultrasound equipment and software to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment while ensuring safety and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. Provide optimal care through collaborative communication with patients and healthcare professionals across designated Mercy facilities. Maintain proficiency in operating imaging equipment and adhere to strict patient safety protocols. Complete required clinical hours and hold applicable registries with ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI, along with state licensure. Perform duties on a per diem or PRN basis with flexible scheduling options.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours
- 1 year of relevant experience
- 2 applicable registries with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) OR The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR CCI within the work area
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- State licensure
