Job Summary
Perform ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing sophisticated equipment while accounting for individual patient needs and age-related considerations. Maintain Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary licensure upon hire, with new graduates required to obtain permanent licensure within six months. Complete American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire and achieve National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography within 180 days. This role is part of Providence Newberg Medical Center's diagnostic imaging team, serving the Pacific Northwest with a focus on whole-person care for vulnerable communities.
