Job Summary
Perform sonographic examinations including abdomen, pelvis, obstetrics, and vascular systems. Engage with patients to explain procedures and ensure comfort. Acquire high-quality images, assess for quality and potential findings, and collaborate with physicians to contribute to patient care plans. Maintain detailed records of procedures, findings, and patient history; ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and functioning, reporting issues promptly. Requires ARDMS and/or ARRT registry credentials and an associate or bachelor’s degree in diagnostic medical sonography or related field. Relocation to Grand Junction, CO required prior to start. Compensation includes $40-$46/hour plus a $10,000 bonus with additional discretionary bonuses; benefits include medical/dental/vision, life insurance, 403(b) with employer matching, paid time off, and education assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in diagnostic medical sonography or related field
- ARDMS Registered and/or ARRT Registry in Radiology
- Experience and training in general ultrasound, vascular and OB in the hospital setting preferred
