Job Summary
Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures as ordered by the physician, ensuring proper imaging techniques for diagnostic accuracy and patient safety. Maintain patient comfort, provide clear instructions throughout the procedure, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to support optimal patient care. Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging results while educating and answering patient questions related to ultrasound procedures. Diagnostic Imaging Centers of Texas (DICOT) is a growing network of outpatient imaging centers committed to delivering exceptional diagnostic services across Texas. Operating across 23 locations with state-of-the-art technology, the team focuses on advanced imaging, patient-centered care, and timely report turnaround.
Required Qualifications
- ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification in one or more specialties (Abdomen OB GYN Vascular etc.)
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency in sonographic anatomy imaging protocols and machine operation
- Familiarity with SPECT PET and hybrid imaging systems
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment
- Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills
