Job Summary
Ultrasound Technologist (Echo Tech) responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures across cardiac, vascular, and general ultrasound modalities, selecting appropriate transducers, explaining procedures to patients, and generating preliminary findings and reports. Must maintain equipment, adhere to SOPs and safety standards, and travel to multiple office locations as needed. Requires BLS, RDCS/RCS certification to perform echocardiograms, and minimum post-internship experience with preference for 2 years; Bachelor’s degree in healthcare field preferred. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school in Ultrasound Technology required
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) required to perform Echo cardiograms
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required w/in first 90 days of employment
- 2 years of experience post internship/externship preferred
- 6 months of related work experience post internship/externship required
- Travel up to 40% locally/regionally
