Job Summary

Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in patient evaluation and treatment. Independently operate ultrasound equipment, verify patient identification, and ensure appropriate procedures are ordered prior to imaging. Recognize and document pathologies during scanning, maintain a clean and safe environment, and accurately record procedures in the electronic health record system for PACS storage. Monitor imaging material inventory and coordinate replenishment. Requires 1-3 years of clinical experience and ARDMS or ARRT certification. Full-time Friday-Sunday schedule from 7am to 7pm.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of clinical experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • Proficiency in ultrasound imaging techniques and equipment operation
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to diagnostic sonography
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate imaging and documentation
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions within the scope of practice
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
  • ARDMS or ARRT - Sonography certification or registry eligible
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support obtained within the 7 days of employment
