Job Summary
Independently perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients under the general supervision of the Supervisor, Ultrasound and the direction of a Radiologist. Complete an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program, earn an Associate's Degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, and obtain National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire. Maintain National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association and hold Washington Radiologic Technologist certification if available. Work per diem with variable shifts at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, WA, providing patient-focused care within a growing open-heart surgery and interventional cardiology program.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program
- Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited educational institution in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Sonography upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
