Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic imaging exams using proper techniques and protocols for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Ensure patient identification, verify orders, and prepare patients while maintaining ACR guidelines. Operate clinical equipment, complete and annotate medically acceptable exams, and manage medical necessity, coding, and charging. Perform quality control programs, report equipment failures, and document all events with accurate time stamps. Adhere to safety practices including body substance protection, sterile techniques, and equipment cleaning. Maintain full-time 36-hour Mon-Thur coverage at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado, with shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT Registry or ARDMS Registry
- The ARDMS must include successful completion of one registry pertinent to the department beyond physics (options include OB, abdominal, neuro, breast, and, vascular)
- Basic life support (BLS) certification, issued by American Heart Association

- RVT Certification
- Ultrasound experience
