Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic ultrasound procedures on pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients under the direction of a Radiologist at Kadlec Regional Medical Center. Perform these tasks independently under general supervision while adhering to a per diem schedule with variable shifts. Maintain national certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Registered Technologist - Sonography upon hire, along with BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Utilize cutting-edge technology within the region's only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and open-heart surgery program to deliver compassionate, patient-focused care consistent with Providence's mission of serving the vulnerable.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program
- Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited educational institution in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Sonography upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
