Job Summary
Independently perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients under the general supervision of the Supervisor, Ultrasound, and the direction of a Radiologist. Complete an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program, obtain an Associate's Degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, and secure National Certification or National Registered Technologist - Sonography upon hire. Maintain National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Work per diem with variable shifts, adhering to a 0.4 working hours weekly schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program
- Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited educational institution in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Sonography upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
