Job Summary
Perform ultrasound procedures at a technical level requiring independent judgment and ingenuity to apply non-ionizing, high frequency ultrasonic waves for patient diagnosis. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of ultrasound principles while promoting a team concept that reflects the mission and values of Providence Health & Services. This part-time, day shift role is based on-site at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA. Candidates must hold a National Registered Technologist certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography and a BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Experience with OB procedures such as CVS, PUBS, and amniocentesis, along with proficiency in electronic medical databases like Epic, is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of education program that meets ARDMS prerequisite requirements for RDMS examination
- National Registered Technologist - Sonography
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in assisting with the following OB procedures: chorionic villus sampling (CVS), Percutaneous Umbilical Blood Sampling (PUBS), and amniocentesis
- Experience with electronic medical databases, like Epic
