Job Summary
Perform diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound on all patient age populations, including breast, abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and other areas. Assist with various procedures where ultrasound is utilized and communicate examination results. Maintain National Provider BLS certification upon hire and achieve National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography within one year. Work a per-diem day shift on-site at Swedish Edmonds as part of the largest not-for-profit health care system in the greater Puget Sound area.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of Ultrasound training program
- Education sufficient to meet eligibility requirements to take American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers (ARDMS) registry examination
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Within 1 year of hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Experience sufficient to meet eligibility requirements to take American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers (ARDMS) registry examination
