Job Summary
Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound imaging procedures for Radiologist interpretation and provides an accurate clinical history. Responsibilities include gathering patient history data, completing exam worksheets, performing ultrasound imaging, maintaining exam rooms, and assisting with imaging center workflow and general duties (e.g., handling disks with images). We value strong customer service, organizational and multitasking skills, and the ability to work across multiple locations. The role requires ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification, state/licensure as applicable, CPR, and 1-2 years of ultrasound experience, with local travel possibly required. Vaccination and background checks are standard pre-employment steps, and there is potential exposure to varying conditions across sites.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred
- CPR certification required
- ARDMS or ARRT(S) required
- State license, if applicable
- Valid state driver’s license, as applicable
- 1-2 years experience in Ultrasound
- Local travel may be required
- COVID-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen
