UltraSound Technician - Regist

Perform ultrasound exams of the abdomen, pelvis, major vessels, small parts, neonatal brains, and obstetrical studies using portable and standard equipment. Conduct Doppler studies of carotids, abdomen, pelvis, small parts, and peripheral vascular systems, including intra-cavity studies for endovaginal and endorectal procedures. Schedule patients, arrange preps, transport individuals, and provide patient comfort. Instruct and supervise ultrasound students and radiology residents while delivering verbal preliminary reports to physicians. Maintain departmental policies, infection control standards, and quality assurance programs. Keep current on diagnostic sonography trends through technical journals and in-service education.
