Job Summary
Operates diagnostic ultrasound equipment to perform imaging procedures and assists Providers with interpretation. Documents outcomes and presents imaging results to the Provider. Maintains ultrasound equipment and supplies, adheres to safety standards, QA testing, and regulatory requirements. Communicates procedures to patients, ensures confidentiality, and participates in professional development. Requires Indiana radiologic licensure, ARRT certification, CPR, an Associate’s degree in Radiography, and strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Travel is rare; work environment involves patient contact and collaboration with physicians and healthcare staff.
