Ultrasound Tech (RVT or RVS) - Vascular Lab - Sharp Memorial Hospital - Variable Shift - Per Diem

Perform a wide variety of technical procedures with quality patient care, assisting physicians as needed. Provide pre and post procedure education to patients and families regarding the type of procedure, contrast administration, positioning, and the report. Produce high quality exams by understanding and applying appropriate imaging techniques, performing routine and special procedure exams as assigned, and labeling studies correctly. Verify patient identification and pregnancy status, observe the patient for changes in status, and initiate appropriate action to ensure a positive outcome. Follow HIPAA guidelines, universal precautions, and sterile techniques while delivering safe, efficient, and therapeutic care. This role requires 10-hour shifts with variable start and end times, weekend coverage as needed, and an on-call rotation.
