Job Summary
Perform diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic techniques to execute routine, vascular, interventional, and non-invasive procedures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the best care for patients while maintaining clear, open communication and building relationships to foster a collaborative environment. Take initiative for professional growth and always seek ways to improve the patient experience. Work 40 hours per week across five days in an 8X5 Day shift. This Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer role requires certification within one year of hire and offers opportunities for career growth within Methodist Medical Group's award-winning network of clinics and virtual care services.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Diagnostic Ultrasound Program
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- RDMS — Abdomen or OB/GYN, must have certification within 1 year from hire date
- Clinical competency in performance of abdomen, obstetric and gynecologic, or vascular procedures
