Job Summary
Ultrasound Technologist in Maternal Fetal Medicine performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations independently, verifies orders, ensures patient safety and comfort, and documents procedures in the electronic health record. Responsibilities include operating ultrasound equipment per department policies, recognizing and documenting pathologies for radiologist interpretation, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, managing imaging materials/inventory, and performing duties as assigned. Requires ARDMS or ARRT Sonography certification (registry eligible) and BCLS; typically 1-3 years of clinical ultrasound experience with 2-4 years preferred. PRN/part-time role in Michigan City, IN with in-person duties.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of clinical experience as an Ultrasound Technologist required
- 2-4 years of clinical experience as an Ultrasound Technologist preferred
- ARDMS or ARRT - Sonography certification or registry eligible required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support obtained within the 7 days of employment required
