Job Summary
PRN Ultrasound Tech responsible for providing diagnostic ultrasound scans to radiologists using ultrasound equipment in accordance with physician orders and procedures; supports imaging department with adult and pediatric assessments, operates in on-call evenings/nights, collaborates with radiologists, and meets education/certification requirements for RDMS or ARRT with BLS, while potentially requiring an allied health associate degree and related education. Required Qualifications
- Certification/registry eligible as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS)
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Sonography (R.T.(S)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
