Job Summary
Using ultrasound equipment to create quality images for obstetrical and gynecologic physicians, operating imaging equipment, reviewing images for quality, and communicating imaging results. The role involves assisting with ultrasound-guided diagnostic procedures and collaborating with healthcare professionals to evaluate high-risk pregnancies. A two-year allied health degree, successful completion of a one-year Ultrasound Technology program, ARDMS registration, and at least 2 years of related experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year allied health degree
- Successful completion of an approved one-year program in Ultrasound Technology
- 2+ years of experience in the field
- Registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
