Job Summary
Operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards. Provide patient services and care across all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology while communicating effectively with staff and radiologists. Maintain ARDMS/ARRT registry eligibility and BCLS certification upon hire. This role offers schedule flexibility within the diverse teams at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- an approved CAAHEP Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or an approved Sonography Program by the ARRT
- 1 year of experience
- ARDMS/ARRT(s) registry eligible
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
