Job Summary
Provide diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic techniques for routine, vascular, interventional, and non-invasive procedures. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver imaging services including CT scans, PET scans, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. Maintain clinical competency in abdomen, obstetric, and gynecologic or vascular procedures while demonstrating clear communication and a commitment to improving the patient experience. This PRN role at a Magnet-designated hospital serves southwestern Dallas County, offering access to a Level III Trauma Center and specialized oncology units.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Diagnostic Ultrasound Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- RDMS — Abdomen or OB/GYN certification within 1 year from hire date
- In addition to required entry level registries, the sonographer must demonstrate clinical competency in performance of abdomen, obstetric, and gynecologic, or vascular procedures
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year experience preferred
