Job Summary
Coordinate ultrasound services for OB-GYN patients with limited supervision, establishing care standards and adjusting operations to meet changing needs. Perform proficient studies including Biophysical Profile, Complete Obstetric Ultrasound, Limited Obstetric Ultrasound, Multiple Gestation Ultrasound, Transvaginal, and Pelvic Ultrasound. Maintain staff competencies, manage schedules, and address educational requirements while exercising professional judgment in patient care management. Requires current RDMS credentials, three years of OB-GYN scanning experience, and BLS training. Preferred for MFM physicians includes nuchal translucency certification. Full-time first shift position at Baptist Health Medical Group in LaGrange, KY.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Current credentials as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
- Three (3) years of experience in scanning OB-GYN procedures
- Basic Life Support
- Other advanced training as appropriate
- Post offer, pre-employment drug testing
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree from an OB-GYN Ultrasound program
- Nuchal translucency certification (or obtained within the first year of employment)
