Job Summary
In this role as Ultrasound Team Lead at Canada Diagnostic Centres, you will oversee the ultrasound team, provide diagnostic imaging, and coach technologists for their professional development. Focused on improving clinic operations and patient experiences, you will collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. To be successful, you must have a CRGS certification or be eligible, possess strong leadership skills, and be experienced in various ultrasound specialties.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Registered Generalist Sonographer (CRGS) through Sonography Canada or eligibility to obtain
- Current registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) or eligibility for registration
- Clinical competency as a sonographer with interest in advanced practice areas
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and lead teams
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office and patient management systems (e.g., RIS)
- Training in MSK, OB/GYN, vascular, or cardiac ultrasound exams, or in interventional procedures
Additional Requirements
- Eligibility for registration with ACMDTT required for out-of-province applicants
