Ultrasound Supervisor

Job Summary

Manage all clinical and non-clinical operations within the Ultrasound department, including staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and payroll approval for direct reports. Perform independent ultrasound imaging and scans under radiologist direction while formulating policies and maintaining modality accreditations with Joint Commission, DHEC, and ACR. Oversee quality improvement projects, conduct performance reviews, and ensure compliance with sterilization protocols and regulatory standards. Serve as a patient advocate by investigating concerns and interviewing families to evaluate services.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of formal training in an AMA approved school
  • 3 years Ultrasound experience
  • Vascular sonography experience
  • Supervisory Experience preferred
  • Written and verbal communication skills

  • Registered by and in good standing with the ARDMS
