Job Summary
Conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments on patients, specifically targeting the lower extremities, including venous insufficiency, reflux, mapping, and duplex examinations. Independently perform and document studies using PACS and EMR systems while maintaining accuracy and quality standards. Support patient care within a vein clinic, vascular laboratory, or related imaging environment. Apply broad sonography knowledge, including experience with OB/GYN and abdominal modalities, when appropriate. Full-time Monday–Thursday schedule with availability between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Requires RVT, RVS, or RpH credential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program
- Current RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist), or RPhS (Registered Phlebology Sonographer) credential
- eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days
- Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations
- Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Strong communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a patient-focused healthcare environment
- must be available between 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Must be available for out-of-state full-time training
