Job Summary
Ultrasound Technologist (PRN) performs ultrasound examinations, assists radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and vascular ultrasound procedures, and documents findings. Responsible for recognizing anatomy and pathology, maintaining and reporting on equipment, writing reports based on scan results, and alerting staff to abnormalities. Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, work independently or as part of a team, and communicate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare providers. Requires ARRT(S)/ ARDMS Certification and CPR/BLS Certification, ability to lift up to 15 pounds, and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
