Job Summary
Ultrasound Imaging Specialist in the UHC: GYN/OB - FMO department performs complex diagnostic ultrasound and vascular exams in accordance with department protocols, supports clinical, educational, and research objectives, and maintains proficiency in workflow. Requires a graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with minimum two years of experience, BLS, and RDMS (abdomen/OB-GYN) or attainment within six months of hire. On-call duties apply; role is performed on-site in Loma Linda, CA. English required with Spanish preferred; duties include equipment troubleshooting, patient care, and collaboration within radiology and multidisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Minimum two years' experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in a medical center preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Core Certification of Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in Abdomen, Obstetrics or Gynecology required or must attain within six months of hire date
