Job Summary
Perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, including routine diagnostic ultrasound and echocardiogram exams covering abdomen, pelvis, major vessels, and small parts. Utilize proper body mechanics to move, position, and transfer patients safely, while assisting in breast biopsies, OR procedures, and TEE exams. Maintain orderliness and cleanliness, communicating effectively with physicians, patients, and the healthcare team. This role floats between Commack, Centereach, and the St. Charles Campus locations. Candidates must hold an ARDMS/RDCS registration or be eligible within six months.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound school
- Registered with ARDMS/RDCS or eligible within 6 months of employment
