Job Summary
Performs comprehensive perinatal ultrasound procedures in Maternal Fetal Medicine, including first trimester ultrasound with nuchal translucency, detailed second-trimester anatomic survey, third-trimester ultrasound, fetal echocardiography, maternal and fetal Doppler (MCA, umbilical artery, ductus venosus, uterine artery), and biophysical profiles. Provides accurate documentation and image acquisition to support interpretation, educates and supports patients and families, participates in on-call coverage (weekends/holidays and after-hours), assists with invasive outpatient procedures (e.g., amniocentesis/CVS), and collaborates with perinatologists, genetic counselors, nurses, and staff. Maintains certification in ARDMS OB/GYN, adheres to AIUM OB standards, and ensures safe, organized work area; demonstrates proficiency with hospital systems, imaging retrieval, and charting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of ultrasonography
- ARDMS OB/GYN
- Familiarity with AIUM standard OB exam
- AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider equipment
