Job Summary
Registered Ultrasonographer in Cardiac Imaging performs echocardiography (including M-mode, 2-D, Doppler) and assists with TEES, stress echo, and pharmacology studies. Responsible for data entry, obtaining proper views, ensuring timely studies, and producing concise findings for the interpreting cardiologist. Maintains knowledge of equipment, completes post-procedural charting, and supports quality imaging to aid diagnosis; requires ARDMS, 2-3 years hospital/office experience, and an Associates degree (BA preferred).
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree required
- ARDMS registration
- 2-3 years of hospital or office based Ultrasonographer Experience
- Experience in stress echo, carotid ultrasound and abdominal aortic ultrasound highly preferred
- Current ARDMS registration
- Ability to lift 20 lbs.
