Job Summary
The Ultrasonographer at Southcentral Foundation is responsible for providing comprehensive ultrasound services and maintaining quality assurance protocols. Candidates must have an Associate degree in a related field and appropriate certification (ARRT, RDMS, or RCS). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory, with further certifications required for specialized services. This role emphasizes a deep understanding of the cultural and health needs of Alaska Native and American Indian communities.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in a related field from an accredited school
- Certification as a Registered Sonographer through ARRT, or RDMS through ARDMS, or RCS through CCI
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Completion of RDMS certification within one year of hire
- Compliance with Employee Health Procedure immunization requirements
