Job Summary
Performs a wide range of Ultrasound procedures including abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and some vascular exams. Responsibilities include reviewing charts, selecting appropriate equipment, interviewing patients, explaining procedures, recording images on PACS, and providing preliminary interpretations. Requires technical training and certifications in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, BLS, and ARDMS in relevant specialties. Candidates should demonstrate decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills in a healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational or Technical training in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Registration Reg Diagnostic Med Sonographer
- Certificate 1 Basic Life Support
- 0-1 years related work experience
- ARDMS certification in Abdominal and/or OB/GYN specialties
- Experience with computer systems including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications
Desired Qualifications
- 2-3 years of full-time hospital experience
- Experience with imaging General, Breast, Breast Interventional, and OB

- Must be vaccinated against influenza as a condition of employment
