Job Summary

Provide radiological services to patients according to physicians' orders under the supervision of the Imaging Center Manager, ensuring patient safety and high-quality testing. Generate quality images in a timely manner while demonstrating knowledge of anatomy, machine operation, and quality patient care. Maintain current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist or Certified ARDMS status, hold an American Heart Association BLS certification, and possess a valid driver's license for campus travel. Requires a graduate degree from an accredited ultrasound school and one year of OB/GYN and abdominal ultrasound experience. Evening shift availability is required for this full-time position at OakBend Medical Center.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound school
  • Minimum of 1 year excluding clinical training in OB/GYN and abdominal ultrasound
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registered or registry eligible within 90 days of hire or Certified ARDMS
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Knowledge of anatomy
  • Knowledge of machine operation
  • Knowledge of quality patient care
  • Ability to generate quality images in a timely manner

Desired Qualifications

  • Vascular experience

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year excluding clinical training in OB/GYN and abdominal ultrasound preferred
  • Vascular experience a plus
