Job Summary
Under site designate leader, performs accurate and efficient ultrasound exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, with independent judgment and initiative. Requires an associate degree or equivalent and ARDMS certifications (e.g., OB, Abdomen, Breast, Cardiac, Vascular, Ob/Gyn or RDCS/RCS), plus CRT-BLS upon hire. 1 year of relevant experience in designated ARDMS areas. Follows Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy. Full-time Day shift from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Dearborn Hospital, Ultrasound Department. Provides high-quality images for interpretation and demonstrates strong clinical and imaging skills.
Required Qualifications
- associate's degree or equivalent
- Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent
- CRT-BLS - AHA Upon Hire required
- CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARDMS Upon Hire required
- CRT-Breast Sonographer (BS) - ARDMS Upon Hire required
- CRT-Abdomen (AB) - ARDMS Upon Hire required or OR CRT-Ob/Gyn (OB) - ARDMS Upon Hire required
- Or CRT-Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered (RDCS) - ARDMS Upon Hire required
- Or CRT-Cardiac Sonographer, Registered (RCS) - Cardiac 1 Year
- CRT-Vascular Technologist (VT) - ARDMS Within 1 year of hire for Vascular Department
