Job Summary

Maintain diligent lookout and listening doctrine while operating sensors, radios, and ground control station equipment to ensure safe aircraft control during all flight phases. Execute takeoff and landing data computations via standard operating procedures, manage emergencies, and assist Mission Commanders with flight planning and briefings. Analyze and report sensor data pertinent to mission success and safety, controlling the unmanned aircraft semi-autonomously or manually via line-of-sight. Operate from forward-deployed locations with minimal comfort access, integrating into daily flying schedules directly under the assigned Site Lead. Requires Group 3–5 UAS experience, 500 military flight hours, Secret clearance, and a Class 2 medical certificate.

Required Qualifications

  • Prior experience with Group 3 – 5 UAS
  • Military MOS qualified UAS Pilot (Army 15C/15W, Marine 7314, Air Force 18X)
  • 500 Documented Flight Hours in Group 3 or above as member of US Military
  • FAA Licensed Commercial Pilot with Instrument Rating
  • Must be capable of controlling unmanned aircraft semi-autonomously (preprogrammed) via the GCS or controlling the unmanned aircraft manually via line-of-sight
  • Basic computer skills
  • High school diploma
  • Must have a valid FAA Class 2 medical certificate (or able to meet standards/obtain)
  • Must meet minimum military health standards for worldwide deployment and unmanned aircraft flight qualifications
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must hold an active Secret Security Clearance
