UK Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to maintain and improve plant performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include planned and reactive maintenance to site equipment, diagnosing and repairing electrical faults (primary focus) and mechanical issues, performing electrical fault finding and improvements, maintaining plant reliability to minimise downtime, completing PPM schedules and accurate engineering documentation, supporting continuous improvement and capital projects, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and permit-to-work systems, collaborating with production teams to enhance performance, and proactively reporting defects. Desirable skills include knowledge of PLC systems, reading technical drawings and schematics, and experience with hydraulics/pneumatics or steam systems.
