UK - Day Operations Team Leader, Walsall

Supervise day-to-day operations at the Walsall Energy Recovery Facility, overseeing the transportation of municipal waste, bottom ash, and residues while ensuring strict compliance with environmental permits and local authority planning. Manage the safe and efficient operation of the tipping hall, weighbridges, and ash hall, including coordination of mobile plant, waste cranes, and traffic management. Perform first-line vehicle maintenance, conduct safety inspections, and support the development of operational procedures and risk assessments. Lead the induction and training of staff and drivers, maintain operational logs, and coordinate corrective actions for facility defects. Ensure all operational records are up to date and that exclusion zones and tipping points are monitored effectively.
